Associate Producer

UK Remote or West Midlands-based / Full-Time Contractor

Role:

As an Associate Producer, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of game-development work across multidisciplinary teams. You will help keep teams aligned, organised, and focused on shared priorities, while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will contribute across audio, prototyping, console and porting work, and wider project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Support the planning, tracking, and delivery of development work, ensuring priorities, dependencies, risks, and next steps are clear.
    • Maintain project information within Jira and other agreed tools, helping teams work from accurate and up-to-date plans.
  2. Team Organisation and Agile Delivery:
    • Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and other project meetings, ensuring actions and decisions are captured and followed through.
    • Help coordinate focused strike teams where required, supporting rapid resolution of priorities, blockers, and delivery risks.
  3. Cross-Discipline Collaboration:
    • Work closely with engineering, design, art, QA, audio, and external partners to maintain alignment and encourage effective communication.
    • Support delivery across in-game audio, technical prototypes, console development, and porting activities.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve team processes, communication, and project visibility.
    • Support the creation of clear documentation, reporting, and practical production workflows that help the team deliver efficiently.

Essential:

  • Understanding of game-development production processes, agile delivery, and multidisciplinary team coordination.
  • Experience using Jira to manage tasks, priorities, sprint activity, and project information.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow through on actions.
  • Awareness of development across prototyping, in-game audio, console development, and porting.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with an ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
  • A proactive, efficient, and solutions-focused approach to supporting team delivery.
