  2. Console and Platform Development:
    • Actively develop and optimise features for console platforms, supporting porting work, platform integration, and compliance requirements.
    • Diagnose and resolve platform-specific issues, ensuring reliable performance and consistent player experiences across supported platforms.
  3. Systems and Technical Architecture:
    • Build and improve scalable systems for game customisation, in-game editors, procedural content, and supporting development tools.
    • Apply test-driven development, robust architecture, and maintainable coding practices to complex technical work.
  4. Performance and Technical Leadership:
    • Profile, debug, and optimise UI, game systems, and platform performance, personally resolving critical bottlenecks and technical risks.
    • Share technical knowledge, review solutions, and mentor engineers while remaining closely involved in implementation and delivery.

Essential:

  • Strong hands-on experience developing UI/UX, console, and game systems in a game-development environment.
  • Expertise across relevant game-engine and custom-engine development environments.
  • Experience with console porting, platform requirements, and Technical Requirement Checklist compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of optimisation, profiling, test-driven development, and scalable software architecture.
  • Experience developing procedural systems, in-game editors, game-customisation systems, or Houdini-integrated workflows.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
