– Gameplay Programmer –

Role and Purpose

We have an exciting opportunity for a programmer to join our team, you will be assisting in gameplay programming and debugging for AAA projects. Initiative and dedication are a must.

Responsibilities

– Work with the code team to achieve efficient and effective systems

– Collaborate with the design team to achieve the high standard required

Knowledge Requirements:

– Proficiency in C/C++ and UE4’s blueprint system, minimum of 2 years experience with Unreal Engine

– Preferably 2 years experience working in the game industry

– Excellent ability to communicate with others

– Practical experience with 3D math

– Experience working on a AAA game title

Demonstrated Ability To:

– Think critically about solutions to tasks and communicate effectively with the team of designers and programmers to
Produce the highest quality standards

– Self motivate and have pride in your work

– Create complicated gameplay systems by being able to follow UML designs

– Be adaptive and master new tools in the process if required

– Take critique and guidance from others

– Manage your time effectively to hit goals and deadlines

 

– 3D Environment Artist –

 

Role and Purpose

Develop high quality 3D game art for AAA Unreal Engine 4 projects, both for our own proprietary games and for our clients. Create and and help us deliver expert quality environment work for a wide variety of game worlds.

Responsibilities

– Collaborate with the art team to develop excellent quality 3D assets for use in large scale game world environments

– Communicate and collaborate with the Art Director & level designers to deliver models to specification that suit their environment and purpose

– Create and maintain texture and model libraries

– Work within the specification of the project and technology, making sure you adhere to modelling detail restrictions, and texture budgets

Requirements

–  1 – 3 years of relevant experience and a good understanding of Unreal Engine 4’s art pipeline

– Demonstrate excellent understanding of colour theory in your texturing, and getting the most out of props using the appropriate baked maps.

– Excellent understanding of 3D modelling for games in 3D Studio Max or Maya

– Expert standard of unwrapping and texture creation using photoshop

– Strong understanding of material and model setup within Unreal Engine 4

– Knowledge of Substance Painter or Ndo are a plus

Demonstrated Ability To:

– Think critically about the requirements of an asset and its potential technical limitations

– Self motivate and have pride in your work

– Create well optimised models that work properly within a dynamically lit game environment

– Be adaptive and master new tools in the process if required

– Take critique and guidance from others well

– Manage your time effectively to create assets in a timely fashion
